Summary
We are seeking an organized professional to join our Media Services team. This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating out monthly VOD production flow through internal departments.
Responsibilities include directing department personnel to ensure media files are received, submitted for transcode and are muxed/analyzed/QCd as required; assist in the oversight and coordination of monthly VOD packaging; act as back up for the Department Manager in ensuring deadlines and goals are met.

This position requires a combination of experience and education equivalent to 2+ years experience in broadcast or media. Qualifications include a proven track record of project administration; prior experience working with digital video media; strong communication skills; customer service; scheduling and meeting deadlines.

This position requires obtaining SBE Certified Television Operator certification within 90 days of hire.

Reporting to the I.T. Manager, this position is responsible for the installation, configuration and maintenance of our operating systems. A vital position in a 24/7 broadcast environment. Position responsibilities include:
Analyzing and resolving problems associated with Linux OS, Apple OS, server hardware and applications software
Monitor LINUX/Apple backups/logs/images
Support of VMware systems
Support of Apple related products (Mac OS, Xsan)
Backup MySQL DBA
Administration & support of asset/inventory tracking package
Documentation & implementation of an ERP (Emergency Recovery Plan) for Linux
Documentation of new standards & procedures.
Helpdesk calls & resolutions
Rotated on-call 24x7 support
